1. Nature of the Service

Stoic Mood Journal is a philosophical tool for self-reflection. It provides a visual representation of your Inner Citadel through the Hourly Timeline graph.

2. Medical Disclaimer

NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE: Stoic Mood Journal is not a medical, diagnostic, or therapeutic tool. It is not intended to treat mental health conditions. If you are in a crisis, please contact professional emergency services immediately.

3. Intellectual Property & License

3.1 License Grant (The Right to Use)

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and limited license to use the Stoic Mood Journal for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not allow you to use the app on any device that you do not own or control.

3.2 Intellectual Property (The Right to Copy)

All rights, titles, and interests in the app—including the Hourly Timeline visualization, the proprietary Resilience (RES) and Logic (LOG) scoring algorithms, the "Sage" progression system, and all UI/UX design—are the exclusive property of Stoic Mood Journal.

You may not:

  • Copy, decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to derive the source code of the app.
  • Modify or create derivative works of the app or its Stoic-themed assets.
  • Distribute or make the app available over a network where it could be used by multiple devices at once.

3.3 User Content & Data Ownership

You retain all rights to the reflections, journal entries, and mood data you input. By using the app, you grant us a limited license to host and store this data on Supabase solely to provide the service to you. We do not claim ownership over your "Inner Citadel."

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Current Access: The app currently provides its core features at no cost.

Future Modifications: We reserve the right to introduce premium features ("Sage Tier") in the future. Any such changes will be clearly communicated and processed via Apple In-App Purchases.

5. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this policy. Your continued use of the Service after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
