Privacy Policy for Stoic Mood Journal
Effective Date: February 15, 2026
Last Updated: February 15, 2026
1. Our Philosophy on Data
In accordance with Stoic principles, we believe that what is internal should remain internal. Your mood data, reflections, and "Rational Interventions" are parts of your private "Inner Citadel." We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal journey for profit.
2. Information Collection and Use
Sign in with Apple: We exclusively use Apple's secure authentication. If you use "Hide My Email," we only receive a unique, randomized relay address (e.g., xyz@privaterelay.appleid.com).
Metric Data: We collect self-reported scores for Resilience (1–10) and Logic (0–30) to generate your Hourly Timeline graph.
Rational Interventions: Textual reflections you enter are stored to provide you with historical insights and are not processed for any other purpose.
Infrastructure: Your data is stored and synced via Supabase, utilizing industry-standard encryption.
3. Data Retention and Deletion
Vigilance over Data: We retain your data as long as your account exists to provide your historical growth charts.
Account Deletion: You have the absolute right to dismantle your Citadel. You can delete your account and all associated mood data permanently via the "Settings" menu in the app. This action is irreversible.
4. Third-Party Services
Hosting: Our marketing site is hosted on Vercel. No personal mood data is stored on Vercel; it is strictly a static gateway to the app.
App Store: Payments and subscriptions are managed entirely by Apple. We do not store your credit card or financial details.
5. Changes to Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
